Beryl Burgess Candidate for Railroad Commissioner

I was born in Rio Hondo, Texas.  I went to school in San Benito, Rio Hondo, and Harlingen, Texas.

I graduated from Texas A&I College in 1954 with a degree in Agriculture.

I worked for 12 years in an industrial laboratory in Harlingen, TX.  In that laboratory every day I tested not less than 12 samples of oil and wrote a report on each sample.  Some days I tested as many as 24 samples of oil.

Among my other duties was the testing of water samples and soil samples and canned vegetable food samples from local canneries.  I tested freshly poured concrete samples that were allowed to cure for several days for structural quality control.

The name of the laboratory was Pattison’s Laboratory.  Old Burt Pattison passed away 12 years ago.  I want to remind all my former co-workers at Pattison's Laboratory to vote for me.

I invite all my friends and acquaintances to vote for me for Texas Railroad Commissioner.
